Over the past year, I have reblogged others posts more so than  posting my own thoughts and what I have learned, discovered and even slightly researched.  There is probably several reasons for the loss of interests: boredom (only so slightly), reluctance to repeat myself (like the national media does every night with their COMMENTARY); and inner feeling that I can’t make much of a difference in the direction we move forward; and the direction seems bleak.   Politics is more corrupt than ever, but you already know that so what else can be said?   We can be watchdogs, but if we do little but expose it, nothing will change, just create more awareness.  So, I guess I will settle for doing my part for awareness sake.    I’m re-committing myself to share my own thoughts and knowledge and what I find out along the way.  If its worth anything.   So, you’ve been forewarned.

Have a wonderful Monday.

19 Things I’ve Learned By Writing Every Day For 4 Years — Thought Catalog

A funny thing about being a writer is that your job is expected to be made up of a more mystical substance than most. But it’s just writing. It is just a hobby or a job like any other. Telling people you are a writer is like telling them you’re distant cousins with Kim Kardashian…

F_ _ K, and you know the word just by seeing partial letters; is seen and heard everywhere.  The word is often seen in blogs, Tweeter …….and frequently used in movies.   It won’t be long it’ll be acceptable in prime time TV shows, like the filth ridden 2 Broke Girls.  You hear it freely used in public without any concern whether young children and ladies are nearby.   Had I used that word while my father was alive I would have received more than a tongue washing.

Why is it THE WORD is so often used today?   Just because it’s a word and we can’t find a better adjective?   I won’t be a hypocrite, when I get angry, like this morning when I cut myself shaving, I may blurt it out or when I hit that bad golf shot.  Not often, but once in a while.   Can’t we all use a better adjective in our writing, and speech.  I get tired of constantly hearing it on the train.  Why can so many things be offense to so many of us, but the F word is not?   It is!

Have a beautiful day!

The author is unknown; a friend shared this with me and others, I thought they would be good to  share.

They are like the Ten Commandments to follow in life all of the time!

1 Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout our journey.

2 So why is a car’s WINDSHIELD so large and the Rear View Mirror so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on.

3 Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes a few minutes to burn, but it takes years to write.

4 All things in life are temporary. If they’re going well, enjoy them… they will not last forever. If they’re going wrong, don’t worry… they can’t last long either.

5 Old Friends are Gold! New Friends are Diamond! If you get a Diamond, don’t forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a Base of Gold!

6 Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, friend, it’s just a bend, not the end!”

7 When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn’t solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8 A blind person asked St. Anthony: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” He replied, “Yes, losing your vision!”

9 When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10 WORRYING does not take away tomorrow’s TROUBLES… it takes away today’s PEACE.

If you really enjoy this, please pass on to others. It may just brighten someone’s day… Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly, and leave the rest to God.
