Trump has been vindicated in his firing of Comey. I can see why Trump was not/is not happy with Sessions. Do your damn job……..
You get the feeling if and when Mueller passes down the indictment and someone/whoever is arrested/charged, if that someone begins to talk may be in position to expose many……..Mueller could be walking into a snake pit of his own making. Word has been spreading that Obama has this shadow government set up. The source of the White House leaks are from the trash he left behind. Sessions recused himself. That means the decision on appointing or not appointing a special prosecutor, and who that special prosecutor is, falls onto Boente.
Obama anticipated and planned for Sessions recusing himself before he left office and made an EO changing the line of AG succession so it would be who Obama wanted, and do what Obama wanted. That seems to not be Boente but we don’t know for sure.
I’m not sure yet who the #2 AG would have been if Trump hadn’t changed it back. Whoever that was is a 100% Obama plant.
Edit: The current Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia is Channing D. Phillips. That’s who Obama wanted as the #2. Phillips was recommended to the appointment by 25 year (D) Eleanor Holmes Norton. Her campaign manager was Donna Brazile.
