James 1:27

I went to the Little Hills Festival we have here in St. Charles, MO over the weekend. There are a lot of crafts and various venders on the streets. There was in a couple of locations where these guys were standing preaching, you know the “End is near” kind of guys. One guy even stood on a box……reading. One of the guys held a sign that read “Fake Christians keep on sinning”. It irritated me. I don’t usually get into discussions with this people about religion; but I thought about it with this guy. His statement is not true, not in the way he meant it. He was saying only real Christians do not sin. God knows we all sin. Yes, Christians do sin. Christ died on the cross for our sins, those we have committed and those we will commit. That doesn’t mean we should not try to stay away from sin, we should. We should always try to do what is right, but we are human! He is a forgiving God, but we must believe in him and that Christ died for our sins and rose again. Believe that!

Have a great day!

Spiritual awareness and insight — Im ashamed to die until i have won some victory for humanity.

Can the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost sit on three different chairs? 🕊❤🕊 This cannot be answered without a rational discussion of the Holy Trinity. This theological topic, more than any other, confuses the heck out of serious and religious thinking people. Orthodox Christianity describes the Holy Trinity as three divine persons. What will be removed next? Religion?: ARLIN REPORT THOUGHT OF THE DAY

Anyone can claim anything to be offensive.   Your neighbor may have a purple house you find ugly.   Does it offend you?  Young males and females are loudly vulgar on the metro, that is not only offensive, hateful things are being said and they show no respect for other passengers.   BUT……..they aren’t being removed.    So, lets take historic statues down, because its a reminder of our past, because some group finds it offensive.   I would question how many of these people even know the history.    Not really, they stopped teaching it in schools.   Children today are more likely to learn how to color their hair purple, stick rings through their noses, how to wear pants half way down their asses, and where to get the most offensive tattoos.

Whats next?   Religion?  When will they start pulling down religious statues.   Will offended Muslims/and or any other group start demanding the Catholic Church pull down their statues, symbols?

I’ve walked or driven past Confederate statues before myself.   Funny, I’ve never had one speak to me, shout-out at me, spit on me or even rap out offensive lyrics.   They just stood their minding their own stiff business, reminding us of what once was and apparently reminding us that not much has really changed, has it?

My morning ride resulted in this thought, not because of the scenery, just time to think.  Islam, isn’t it the perfect example why there should be separation of church and government?   Isn’t Islam both?

I know, some will argue so is Christianity.   Not sure how that applies, especially when we have taken God out of, well, nearly everything; by government and mostly the left side.

Your thoughts?   This is a door left wide open.
