I know it was many years ago, but it was not meant to be forgotten. Remember the Alamo! Would they have given their lives if they knew what would be happening today? Probably not! Our ancestors would have expected us to defend the cause they fought. That doesn’t apply just for Texas.
Needs repeating. Holds a message forgotten by many. A message and belief that must be relived over and over, instilled back into our hearts.
This was written in 1981, just after Mr. Reagan was elected President of the United States for the first time. kqd
“For one who was born and grew up in the small towns of the Midwest, there is a special kind of nostalgia about the Fourth of July.
Somewhere in our [youth], we began to be aware of the meaning of [important national] days and with that awareness came the birth of patriotism. July Fourth is the birthday of our nation. I believed as a boy, and believe even more today, that it is the birthday of the greatest nation on earth.
The day of our nation’s birth in that little hall in Philadelphia, [was] a day on which debate had raged for hours. The men gathered there were honorable men hard-pressed by a king who had flouted the very…

Borders, are lines of separation between two countries. They are surveyed and marked for a reason and yes it is segregation of people. There is a right way to enter this country and become a citizen. I have no problem with those that follow the law. The influx of illegals creates an over abundance of social problems, of which we have enough of our own. You don’t fix you problems by leaving a problem behind, coming here is a temporary fix for the illegal…….but places a heavier burden……yes burden on the American people. Soon, we look like the 3rd world country you left.
July 11, 2014 a National Day of Protest, for whatever your cause in favor of or against, the 11th is your day. March to Washington, to the borders, state capitols, city halls, if you have something to say, say it, let your voice be heard; it is your right…….for or against. Get involved, make your government pay attention, this is the time.
When they hear us. July 11th 2014 National Day of Protest. This is American’s day across the country to write, call radio talk shows, march on state and federal capitols, picket…..for whatever you are for or against. Make your voice heard. They will have to listen to us. Now is the time for the people to take action. Peacefully of course.
When are Americans going to become sufficiently pissed off that they are going to demand action be taken to bring together the Executive and the Legislative Branches of the Federal Government to begin to cooperate?
The Speaker of the House of “Representatives” [who do they represent other than themselves] won’t bring a Senate-passed immigration bill to the floor. Then he blames the President for not doing anything about immigration reform. In California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, illegal immigrants are pouring across the border; yet, one recent poll shows that only 38 percent of Americans are concerned. If I tried to haul my butt over the border to Mexico, I’d be tossed back in the Rio Grande like an unwanted fish. Mexico’s immigration laws are far stricter than those of the United States…and they enforce them. Yes, we have border control, but it’s a bitch to patrol almost 1,896 miles…

Claire McCaskill has always positioned herself close to, very close to President Barack Obama, clinging to his coat tails and in his pocket. Claire is being uncharacteristically quiet these days.
Claire, has Barack Obama gotten too radical and out of control even for you these days? Maybe Claire is not happy along with her colleagues that Obama does not get approval from them on his activities. The good senator from Missouri appears to be distancing herself from THE PRESIDENT.
Claire has been a strong supporter of Obama, especially during his campaigns for election and re-election. Now that Obama is a Lame Duck Commander-in-Chief, with more flexibility, he may not be so attractive to Claire.
With all the issues of the likes of Benghazi, the illegal immigration horror, King Obama’s executive decision attitude……..on and on, McCaskill has little to say and who could blame her.
Claire has always been an outspoken politician and her silence only confirms a disapproval of Obama and a legislature that is doing nothing.
Claire your public, especially in Missouri, want to hear from you. What do you think of King Obama now? Why are you so silent? Have any thoughts on the immigration mess? Stay silent Claire and you’re part of the problem.
Enjoy the 4th of July Senator!
See, protesting can be effective. Use your voice, its your right. July 11, 2014 is National Day of Protest. Whatever you are for or against, be heard. It is time to make government listen. We can take action against Obama’s illegal executive decisions and actions.
A group of patriots did America proud today — standing up against Barack Obama’s lawless mass amnesty — and stopping his illegal alien express in its tracks — and inspiring other communities to follow suit.
A crowd of 200 to 300 people in downtown Murrieta, California surrounded three buses carrying illegal aliens Tuesday afternoon, causing the buses to turn around before they reached a Border Patrol station in the Riverside County city.
Waving Americans flags and protest signs, the crowd refused to give way when the buses arrived with some 140 illegals from Texas, which has seen a flood of Central American illegals cross the border in recent weeks without permission.
A small number of Murrieta police officers stood between the protesters and the buses but could not keep the crowd from blocking the buses’ path.
