Back after a couple of days vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks. Nice and hot. Too hot to even fish………hardly saw any fishermen out on the lake.

Flooding in our area here in St. Charles County…………11 inches in about 6 hours. Ground was too dry and hard to soak in the rain. After two and 1/2 days away from home some bushes dried up. Just planted a couple of months ago.

Not a good first day back, a cat (Zora) we had needed to be put to rest. 17-1/2 years old. She had a good life. Same age my Siberian Husky passed away a few years back. Maybe they’ve rejoined and will be better friends this go around now.
