If you visit this blog for a Bible verse regularly, I failed to post one yesterday. Sorry for that, I had a early tee time yesterday (for a tournament), had to get up at 4:15 AM to drive to the course. Got into a bit of a rush at home. Wanted to get to the course so I didn’t feel rushed on the first tee. Was fine……. Golf tip, eat an energy bar every 3-4 holes, drink some juice (I drank orange juice). I never did this till yesterday, my energy level stayed high, and I was better focused. Shot a 72. It is now a part of my routine.

Monkeypox seemingly sprung out of nowhere to infect large swathes of the globe, replacing COVID-19 as the malady du jour. Experts say the number of monkeypox cases is severely undercounted, and the World Health Organization just declared the disease a global health emergency.
Monkeypox has hit America particularly hard. Our nation has the most recorded cases on Earth, with nearly a third centralized in New York City.
So, are we due for a new plague on par with the coronavirus?

The city ofSan Francisco and the state of New York declared public health emergencies on Thursday amid the growing outbreak of monkeypox.
San Francisco Mayor London Breed said that the risk of monkeypox to the general population remained low but that declaring a public health emergency would allow the city to mobilize resources and accelerate emergency plans to respond to rising case numbers. Monkeypox infections in the city have nearly doubled over the past week, she noted.
