Mark Meadows: My Aide Is Lying

She claimed that there were hordes of armed rioters that day. They had body armor and AR-15s. It’s pure hearsay. Where’s the photographic evidence? We would have seen it by now. We haven’t seen it because it doesn’t exist.

Who Funds The Government??

Freedom Is Just Another Word...

The taxpayer, mostly by government theft..

So if we fund those clowns in Washington..

How do they ‘own’ anything?

The Biden Administration is doubling down on calls to use federal land to provide abortions because I guess it really wants to start civil war

Shouldn’t American Taxpayers be the rightful owners?

Just asking …

Missouri enacts photo voter ID law before November elections

I am from Missouri. This is important……..and not a big deal to show a photo ID (Driver’s License or other state issued ID). I have shown my ID in years past in Franklin County, Missouri. SO WHAT! It makes sense. (Arlin Report comment)

Newsdesk International

Missouri voters will have to show photo identification to cast a regular ballot in the November election as a result of a law signed Wednesday by Gov. Mike Parson that caps a nearly two-decade-long push by Republicans for stricter voting requirements.

After Roe, Never Trumpers Should Just Admit They Were Wrong

BY: JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON at the Federalist:

Donald Trump

The Never Trump faction is so committed to hating Trump it can’t think clearly about the end of Roe and give credit where credit is due.

Author John Daniel Davidson profile

The left’s reaction to the Supreme Court’s historic decision last week overturningRoe v. Wadehas been uniformly appalling but not at all surprising:violence, calls for more violence, calls to pack the court, ignore its decisions, dissolve it. In other words, about what you’d expect from people who want to destroy every institution they don’t control.

On the right, the reaction has been rather more mixed, mainly because of the cowardice and intellectual dishonesty of the Never Trump faction, whose leading lights can’t bring themselves to give credit to former President Donald Trump for accomplishing what…

Wisdom and understanding.

Our leaders lack in both. And as a result we lack in at least wisdom, we keep electing people that have neither.

BTW: I will be gone a few days. Won’t be posting until Monday next week. Going on a short golf vacation. Of all places, heading north to Burlington, Iowa. There is a nice course there, Spirit Hollow. Ranked #1 course in Iowa. We were there about 5 years ago, stayed in the lodge (attached to club house). Hopefully this time we don’t lock ourselves out on the balcony like we did before (light evening, after everyone had gone home except the night watchman. He found us after about an hour. My significant other wanted me to jump from the 2nd level to get down. I wasn’t about to break a leg. So we waited. )

See you in a few days!

If Democrats wanted to keep abortion, here’s what they should have done

(My new American Thinker post)

We are inRoeminus 2, or two days withoutRoe.It’s time to remind the pro-Roecrowd that they made the overturn possible by being so rigid about abortion.

Let’s do a little alternate history. It’s a fun game and in this case rather significant.

So let’s go back to June 1995.  Back then, President Clinton was moving to the center and looking to cut deals with the GOP Congress.

Let’s imagine the following phone call from President Clinton to Speaker Newt Gingrich. Here it goes:

“Newt, it’s President Clinton here.”

“Hello, Mr. President. What’s up?”

“Newt.I want to cut a deal on abortion and put it behind us.Here is my plan.I will propose a new law that guarantees access to abortion but lets every state govern the details.”

“Mr. President, are you saying that you want to go the way of Europe?”
