You are 100% on that one. James was hit by a car in 1990. He wanted to get his knee fixed, Medicaid said someone else is to blame, so wouldn’t fix his knee. Over time, the knee caused more joint problems from walking with a bad knee.
Recently, SSA did a redetermination, without giving us any notice, they called on the phone, out of the blue. The report the woman did, was nothing but lies, and most questions were never even asked of him. That was 2/5/21. One 2/14/21 we received a copy of the document that the woman filled out. The letter and the form was dated 2/5/21. With 4-5 more days, before we could bitch about this woman making all these false statements that he supposedly made, we got another letter dated 2/5/21 saying it was the second notice and that he had missed his interview appointment, that they notified us on 01/27/21.
We never got a notice, besides, they are supposed to set the appointment for 30 days after you get the letter. If what they claimed was true, they violated the hell out of the procedural rules. So, the SSI check was not deposited, because he missed the redetermination interview that was never scheduled.
They are supposed to alert you prior to cutting off your disability benefits. They didn’t bother, leaving us not knowing that they were not depositing the check, and our house payment is auto paid out of that account. So the check was not deposited, the house payment was not made, and we didn’t even know it. I got an email from the bank saying that my balance was low, so I went to the website, and found all this out.
03/15/21 James called and talked to a lady, and she said well you missed your appointment. He said no, the appointment was kept. She wanted to argue, so he read her the whole first sheet of the report. She went away for a long time and returned and told him she had put in for an emergency payment request.
After a week, and still not having the payment deposited, he called 3/22/21 and talked with “Ivory”. She told him that the caseworker had just entered the report (yea, cause we bitched and proved that he did not miss the appointment). She said now, they have to review the document she entered. He told her that we had already proven that everything on the documents was a lie. In the end, she told him to call the caseworker that decided that 70 year old, disabled white men don’t get benefits anymore. yea right!
Be careful, it you voted republican, are a white male, and get SSA, SSI, retirement, or anything else that the govt. has to touch before you get it! Looks like the greed monsters have hit big time, and they still have to figure out how to pay for all the friggin illegals that Biden invited to the party!

I KNOW WHAT THE PROCEDURE IS LIKE. MY HUSBAND BECAME DISABLED, WITH A STROKE, AND IT TOOK TERRAINS OF MOUNTAINS FOR US TO STAY ALIVE TO GET A LITTLE BIT OF NOTHING. IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA, EVERYTHING IS MUCH EASIER IF YOU ARE BLACK, BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I SUFFERED GREATLY WHEN WE WERE EMPLOYED FROM ECONOMIC AND ALSO SEXUAL HARRASSMENT. ONE BLACK WOMAN WHERE HE WAS WORKING INSISTED OF RUBBING THE INSIDE OF HIS THIGH, AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. ANOTHER PLACE WHERE HE WAS EMPLOYED SOME BLACK FOLKS STOLE AND BROKE HIS GLASSES, AND AS FOR ME THEY FOLLOWED ME TO THE TRAIN STATION AND ATTEMPTED TO FEEL MY BREAST. WE COULD SAY MORE!!!
