Antifa was on the streets outside the Trump Rally in Minneapolis last night attempting to disrupt and intimidate Trump supporters. Their local leader Mayor Jacob Frey had earlier tried to block Trump from coming to Minneapolis by jacking up security and facility costs, price gauging. So, we know what the 38 year old mayor thinks of freedom of speech. That didn’t work and the threat of Antifa did not stop Trump supporters from filling up the Target Center. There are similarities between Jacob Frey and Antifa. Frey gave them the fuel to ignite their evening out.
“The antifa (/ænˈtiːfə, ˈæntiˌfɑː/) movement is composed of left-wing, autonomous, militant anti-fascist groups and individuals in the United States. The principal feature of antifa groups is their use of direct action, with conflicts occurring both online and in real life. They engage in varied protest tactics, which include digital activism, property damage, physical violence, and harassment against those whom they identify as fascist, racist, or on the far-right.
Activists involved in the movement tend to be anti-capitalists and subscribe to a range of ideologies, typically on the left. They include anarchists, socialists and communists along with some liberals and social democrats. Their stated focus is on fighting far-right and white supremacist ideologies directly, rather than through electoral means.[27″]
Actually their focus is anything to the right of them. They fight anyone that disagrees with whatever it is they believe or want.
