The Cherokee Nation wants a representative in Congress, taking the US government up on a promise made in 1835 —

Our government has a long history of putting the screws to Native Americans. MOST treaties broken. AOC has never visited an Indian Reservation! Probably best she doesn’t! We don’t need more misrepresentation! Elizabeth Warren DOES NOT represent The Cherokee Nation!

Talk about reparation for black Americans? Where will that end? Native Americans aren’t even asking for reparation, they’d be as deserving as anyone, if anyone is deserving. We can not pay for the ignorance of the past with more ignorance during the present and the future. Just learn by our mistakes, which is obviously challenging and difficult enough.

arlin report thought of the day: paranoia disease?

I went to our local supermarket this morning. I pulled into a parking space across from this pickup truck. On the dash was a baseball style cap, it read “SUICIDAL TENDENCIES”. My first thought was “okay, that’s a little weird, would you really wear that?”. Then, I thought, is that one of those signs we should not ignore? Is this guy a threat to himself and/or someone else? Most likely, probably not! Just something to make someone like me think or even suspicious. So, it worked!

See something, say something. Its not like I saw a stack of automatic rifles in the guys truck! So, what does it take to trigger a call for help or concern to authorities? Who determines what is dangerous and what is just a bit of fun messing with peoples minds? Of course we are in the age of easily offending others! Who determines what is really offensive and who should just suck it up, be a little stronger butter cup? Where does that red line get drawn and who decides? Who decides if someone needs to be sent to the nut house for evaluation, just because we don’t quite understand them? Sometimes it may be those doing the deciding and evaluations that we should have the most concern for. Courts often order psychological evaluations in order to determine if one is fit for trial. However, that is after a crime has been committed. We are talking about prevention here, aren’t we? I am more concerned with those who behead cats and send them to some one as a warning, a threat. Now those are dangerous people, some in high places.

It is extremely difficult to say today, “follow the pattern of behavior”! What is normal anymore, and who decides? Our lawmakers? OH PLEASE! It is they we need to watch the closest. And that my friends is another story, I may address!

Paranoia disease? Are we also now a paranoid society?

not a gun but a social behavioral problem

Predicting a murder in the City of St. Louis is easier and more accurate than forecasting the weather. If I could place a bet down in Vegas, or one of our local casinos here in St. Charles County, Missouri, I’d be a richer man. My accuracy on a murder forecast would be a 100% probability, and I’d be 100% accurate each and every night.

Blaming killings on the gun is an old, tired excuse. God forbid it could not be a person problem, a behavioral problem if you will. Many of these murders happen in the very late night or early AM morning hours. I remember in the day, we had curfews in our small town of Union, MO. If a police officer saw me and my friends walking the streets after midnight (or maybe it was 11:00PM) they’d stop, roll down their window and say “boys time to get home, do it on your own or I’ll take you”! My mother would often say “…..nothing of any good happens after midnight when you are out and about, so get you’re tail home.” Mom wasn’t always right but she was right about that. Now mind you, my mom and dad (and my friend’s parents) didn’t just let us leave the house late at night to roam around. If we left for some kind of event or activity earlier in the day, they told us when they expected us to be home, and we usually got home on time, or our dads would come looking for us. However, occasionally my friends and I camped out for the night, and yes we might risk an officer pull over. We’d sometimes walk to the nearby laundry mat and get some candy and a soda (some of you may call it pop) from the vending machine. If an officer saw us, he’d see our innocent behavior, confirmed by the purchase we carried in our hands. He’d also see we were walking in the direction of our homes. No harm, no foul! “Just hurry along boys!” I’m not saying we were perfect little angels. Once in awhile we’d raid veggie gardens at night. Some of our neighbors had nice tomatoes, carrots and potatoes. They made for nice midnight snacks. We only did that a couple of times and always from someones garden we knew, so as not to get into too much trouble if we got caught, which we never did. That was pretty much the extent of our juvenile bad behavior. We didn’t carry guns looking for someone to kill for the thrill or because it was a requirement from our little neighborhood gang. If anything, if we saw something that shouldn’t happen, we said something; aside from our few and in between potato and tomato thefts of course. (oh and by the way, we never took that many that could be noticed, you couldn’t even tell any had been taken from the vine).

Back when I was a kid growing up, we more resembled “The Little Rascals” or “Our Gang” TV classics than today’s late night/early morning news. We were more likely to be pulled by the ears and drug home by mom, dad or an adult neighbor/friend, for breaking out a window from a baseball than shooting someone (and certainly not raiding a garden).

Growing up is sure different today than it once was! Our store merchants let us soap their windows on Halloween (they had them prepped for easy cleaning), just don’t throw eggs and you won’t get into trouble. What has happened? Broken homes, low church attendance……….poverty, education system issues (high school drop outs). Could it be we have some really serious social problems, which nobody wants to discuss. Its easier to blame something materialistic or manufactured, than to blame the MIND (individually and collective whole of society). Let’s just continue to blame rather than solve, that way we can still have those news broadcast the media loves to report on. Bad news carries more attention and a greater audience. Bad stuff sells, along with stupidity. Isn’t there a behavioral issue there? I see one.

Oh yeah, all those speeches finally totaled and paid up. Ukraine profit helped too didn’t it Hillary? All those incomes for these clowns going in their pockets and out of ours. Deals with foreign governments, foreign and probably domestic companies were nice too, hey Hillary, Barack? And, at the same time these turds want us to give more to illegals, which would take much more in tax revenue. We, the American public are the suckers Barnum was talking about.

The real reason Hillary had a nervous breakdown was losing to Trump. All that power to make more money through her worldly connections, promises and bribes, treasonous executive decisions to a great deal slipped away. Hillary was supposed to win and most world leaders know that! Expected it! Were told it’s in the bag! Promises that would weaken us (US) and strengthen Hillary and her bank account, now possibly gone for ever. A coup was needed! Is the axe about to fall?

So, Obama believes he has a great legacy?

Well, just how much longer before Obama’s legacy comes tumbling down? Recent news on coup may have a great deal to determine that!

Cindy McCain absolutely sounds like the illogical Democratic Party.

Criticizing the Republican Party, especially about the border and illegal immigrants. Dear Cindy, John was in the Senate for many years and did nothing to secure our border or prevent what has taken place there.–abc-news-topstories.html

arlin report thought of the day: prostate cancer update

First thought: What a gorgeous morning, even though thunderstorms predicted for later today. No big deal, they pass through quickly in Missouri, especially this time of year.

I found out yesterday that the prostate cancerous rodent within me has not spread to my bones. My bone scan came back clean. I do still need to have a CT scan tomorrow (was supposed to have had it after my bone scan but had miscommunication on scheduling). Doctor said “No harm, we aren’t losing time, usually the CT scan is clean when the bone scan is clean, just needs to be done for documentation “a marker” if you will.”

Our battle of attack against this nasty ass rodent (I even gave it a name…… prick) is to do Robotic Surgery. A surgeon from my Urologist’s office will do the procedure. I meet with him on August 29th, to discuss and schedule this little inconvenience. What a relief it was though that it was not in my bones! I was able to get a good nights sleep last night! I know that I am fortunate, much more than many, many others. We seem to have caught this at the right time. My Gleason count (which comes from my biopsy) was at 7. If we were at 6, maybe we do nothing, just keep an eye on it. But 7 is on the edge, where it is best to do something. Aggressive surveillance was an option but not recommended, since my Gleason Count was 7, an advanced enough stage to do surgery. Radiation is an option as well, except if you do radiation first and it doesn’t get it all, surgery really can’t be done, scar tissue from radiation makes surgery very difficult. My Urologist left it up to us (me and my “very” significant other). Robotic Surgery made more sense. Let’s just take “the prick” out now! Probably won’t have the surgery until middle to late September, early October at the latest. Oddly, my prostate must heal (reduce swelling) from the biopsy even though its being removed. With swelling they can’t get as good a view as they need/want. That takes about 4-6 weeks. So, we are looking at middle September to early October.

I had a conversation with the nasty rodent this morning, it went something like this: “You nasty little prick, you couldn’t even get outside my prostate, now you’re about to be destroyed! Sorry prostate, but you should not have let the prick in! We’ll say good-bye very soon!”

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it means a lot and is helping. I feel much more confident we will beat this animal!
