arlin report thought of the day: paranoia disease?

I went to our local supermarket this morning. I pulled into a parking space across from this pickup truck. On the dash was a baseball style cap, it read “SUICIDAL TENDENCIES”. My first thought was “okay, that’s a little weird, would you really wear that?”. Then, I thought, is that one of those signs we should not ignore? Is this guy a threat to himself and/or someone else? Most likely, probably not! Just something to make someone like me think or even suspicious. So, it worked!

See something, say something. Its not like I saw a stack of automatic rifles in the guys truck! So, what does it take to trigger a call for help or concern to authorities? Who determines what is dangerous and what is just a bit of fun messing with peoples minds? Of course we are in the age of easily offending others! Who determines what is really offensive and who should just suck it up, be a little stronger butter cup? Where does that red line get drawn and who decides? Who decides if someone needs to be sent to the nut house for evaluation, just because we don’t quite understand them? Sometimes it may be those doing the deciding and evaluations that we should have the most concern for. Courts often order psychological evaluations in order to determine if one is fit for trial. However, that is after a crime has been committed. We are talking about prevention here, aren’t we? I am more concerned with those who behead cats and send them to some one as a warning, a threat. Now those are dangerous people, some in high places.

It is extremely difficult to say today, “follow the pattern of behavior”! What is normal anymore, and who decides? Our lawmakers? OH PLEASE! It is they we need to watch the closest. And that my friends is another story, I may address!

Paranoia disease? Are we also now a paranoid society?

  1. IT IS NOT ONLY WHAT PEOPLE WEAR; IT IS ALSO WHAT IS ON THEIR BODIES, I DO NOT DRIVE AS I AM ONE OF THOSE PROFESSIONAL PEDESTRIANS AND ONE WHO TAKES THE PUBLIC TRANSIT BUSES, BUT I NOTICE MORE AND MORE (AT EVERY AGE GROUP), THAT PEOPLE ARE PAINTED WITH TATTOES. SOME YOU CAN NOT EVEN SEE WHO THEY ARE, ALL THAT YOU SEE ARE TATTOES, AND NOT THE PERSON. IT IS NOT PARANOIA, THAT PEOPLE ONLY WANT YOU TO SEE THE TATTOES, AND NOT THEM??? AS I RECALL GROWING UP YOU DID NOT SEE MUCH OF THIS AT ALL, NOW ALSO WOMEN NOT ONLY WEARING MAKE UP THEY ARE PAINTED IN TATTOES TO THE HILT AS WELL. YOU SEE THEM IN “RANKING” BUSINESSES AS WELL, I TELL YOU THAT PEOPLE WITH TATTOES ARE TAKING OVER. SOME WITH IRREGULAR COLOUR HAIR DYES AS WELL. THE LANDSCAPE IS A CHANGING.
