VOTER ID SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT: ARLIN REPORT THOUGHT OF THE DAY

Should there be a Voter ID requirement?   YES, and it should be especially required in national elections, for presidency and House & Senate elections.

The fact this is even a question for consideration is appalling.   A requirement to show a form of Voter ID is not a violation of rights.  Voter ID is to protect our rights, and protects a fair election process.   Each and every time I have been requested to show my  ID I have THANKED the election volunteer for protecting our election process.

If I were pulled over for a traffic violation, I am asked by the officer to show my driver’s license (a Driver’s ID for proof to legally drive a vehicle).   We should also be required to show a Voter’s ID to prove we have legally registered to vote in a particular district, county, state and country.   Seriously, how much effort does it take to show your ID?  When I cash a check, I show an ID for my own protection.   Protecting our voting rights for a fair election is common sense.   I do not want anyone, ever using MY NAME from my grave to vote and particularly by someone who is not even a citizen.

ONLY THOSE ILLEGAL VOTERS AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS WOULD BE AGAINST A VOTER ID REQUIREMENT.
