ST. LOUIS’ BID FOR AMAZON HEADQUARTERS 2? WILL FALL SHORT

Image result for photos of the amazon headquarters bid

What should be an ideal geographic and economic location for Amazon’s sweepstakes for its 2nd headquarters is likely to be given only mild consideration.  St. Louis would be the near perfect location, centrally located, Mississippi River, a major airport, railways etc. etc. etc.   However its major, and I mean major roadblock(s) is a labor force lowly trained, a high protest/riotous area and high crime, which includes shootings and murder.   Why would Amazon build or purchase a building/facility that risks having its windows knocked out or burned?

There are as many negatives about coming to St. Louis as positives.  Regional attitude of its citizenry is a huge problem.   Its called racial unrest……..   Why would Amazon take such a risk?  I could be surprised, but I’m guessing Amazon goes elsewhere!

  1. NONE OF YOU WILL EVER BE ABLE TO COMPREHEND HOW MUCH I MISS THE SEA BREEZES OF FLORIDA, AND FEELING THE SAND IN MY SANDALS, EVEN IN THE WINTER TIME, IT CAN BE MAJESTIC. I AM HOPING BEFORE ALL ELSE, I CAN STILL BE IN FLORIDA, AND CROSS THE GEORGIA STATE LINES. ALL OF YOU HAVE GOT ME STARTED ON THIS ONE, AND NOW I MISS A BASKET COLLECTING SOME SEA SHELLS AND RELAXING WITH A GLASS OF WINE, AND SOME SEAFOOD. GEORGIA IS EXTREMELY HOT AND HUMID, AND EVEN SOME HUMIDITY IN THE WINTER TIME. I MISS RIDING A BICYCLE TOO, AND THIS PLACE IS NOT BICYCLE FRIENDLY. I MISS SEEING THE BOATS AND THE YACHTS TOO, I ALSO MISS PUBLIC BUS TRANSPORTATION TO BE CLOSE TO THE BEACHES. MEANWHILE “BACK TO EARTH” AND TO AMAZON:

  2. You forgot that being in the midwest, you have extremely high humidity in the summer, and winters though more mild than my former neck of the woods, still can be quite cold!!! They look at that stuff too.Oh. And you’ve got Claire McCaskill as a Senator. That can’t help!
