Donald Trump made good on a campaign promise by ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) this week. He has waffled on it since becoming president, saying it was a very difficult decision, but in the end, his head won out over his heart, as he actually listened to Attorney General Jeff Sessions who told him it was Congress, not the White House that wrote the laws, and he should kick it back to them to fix. He did, giving them 6 months to come up with a solution…and I’ve got a bridge in Lake Havasu City that says it’s not going to happen!

What DACA was, was an Obama-era idea that said the kids that are illegal aliens in this country were brought here by their parents, and so they shouldn’t be deported. So rather than grant them citizenship (which he knew he couldn’t do anyway), he deferred…
