They, CharBroil, won’t tell you this but; if you are going to hookup your new Charbroil Red Tru Infrared grill to natural gas, don’t completely assemble the grill until you have the natural gas conversion kit. The kits do not come with the grill.
I had the grill nearly completely assembled, only to learn that half of the parts get removed when you do the conversion, and replaced with conversion parts. Now some of those parts were already assembled, like the control knobs and LP orifices. Now I am removing what CharBroil assembled to convert to natural gas.
You will save yourself a lot of time and work if you wait until you get your conversion kit before assembling.
Why doesn’t CharBroil and other grill companies just manufacture a few grills (according to popularity and consumer purchasing history) already setup for natural gas? They should surely have an idea of how many of their grills are being sold for natural gas vs. LP.
I’m just saying………….
