  1. Are you telling me that the home of Busch Soccer (the absolute foremost elite youth soccer program in the country), doesn’t have an MLS team??? As a former youth coach and referee for years, I find that to be utterly amazing! Busch has the best facilities, the best teams, the best coaches anywhere in the country. It teaches literally thousands of kids in St. Louis the finer points of the game. If there is ANY city that deserves an MLS team, it’s St. Louis!

    1. I played soccer in college, when I graduated, was given an opportunity to try out with the St. Louis Stars (didn’t they made very little then). The Stars were a pro team in the former NASL. We’ve had indoor teams since as well; but no, no MLS team. St. Louis is the original Soccer capital of the US.
