What could possibly be going through the minds of our military men and women. What has Obama tossed them into. I would venture to say, they would feel better with their boots on the ground back in Iraq and in Syria…..doing what they were trained to do.
MONROVIA, Liberia (AP) — Six U.S. military planes arrived in the Ebola hot zone Thursday with more Marines, as West Africa’s leaders pleaded for the world’s help in dealing with a crisis that one called “a tragedy unforeseen in modern times.”
“Our people are dying,” Sierra Leone President Ernest Bai Koroma lamented by videoconference at a World Bank meeting in Washington. He said other countries are not responding fast enough while children are orphaned and infected doctors and nurses are lost to the disease.
Alpha Conde of Guinea said the region’s countries are in “a very fragile situation.”

This is one of the dumber moves Obama has made. He says he did it because we have the unique ability to provide people to help. There’s not a shred of truth in that. He did it because he sees Africa as the hot spot for Ebola and doesn’t want that stain left on his homeland!

Yeah, it tells you a lot, I thought that was for the Red Cross. I haven’t heard if they are even there are not? I wouldn’t blame them if not.

And Doctors without Borders, is another organization that would/should be involved in this epidemic that is about to become a pandemic. Our military is not equipped to do this. This is a death sentence for them, and they know it. Its a damn shame what POTUS has done and not done!

Arlin, I liked what you wrote! I believe that you are so right! Those military who have been deployed to do jobs that they aren’t equipped to do, and are going to be exposed to ebola, and they know it! You’re right, they’d rather be boots on the ground in Syria or the border of Turkey right now!
I know you have a lot of other posts that I haven’t gotten to. I’ve been ill, and have 3000+ emails to get through! But I will get to them, backwards! LOL
