I THOUGHT ISRAEL WOULD STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF GAZA IF HAMAS PUT AN END TO THEIR BOMBING. NOW I AM NOT SO SURE.
I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND OTHER THAN IT IS A WAY OF LIFE, ONE SIDE WILL NOT BE SATISFIED UNTIL THE OTHER NO LONGER EXISTS. IN BETWEEN PERIODS OF PEACE ONLY FOR REGROUPING. THE HATE IS SO DEEP, WILL HAMAS NOT STOP TILL THEY AND ALL PALESTINIANS ARE DESTROYED ?

Israel did not start the war they are just ending it. Hamas is responsible for the death of all of the children and their parents in Gaza as they are cowards hiding among innocent people using them as shields and political propaganda. Hamas want’s to wipe all Israel off the map kill them all. There is no place on this earth for this mentality so let Israel do what they need to do.

I understand all that and agree. You would just wish Hamas would have enough decency to end it, they are committing murder and suicide. But I know they will not…. Israel will do what it needs to do. Unfortunately there is no way to destroy Hamas without killing the innocent. That’s war though. Enough is enough that is only wishful thinking. Thank you for your reply.

Great post A.L. I think Israel has a different mindset than most Americans when it comes to stuff like this. I think they believe the purpose of war is to inflict damage until the other guy waves the white flag. That’s how I was taught war should be fought…and the way Americans always fought it until Vietnam (but never since). I think they would tell you it’s enough when the other side is decimated or they give up.
